Job Overview

UtilitiesOne is seeking a highly skilled OSP Construction Coordinator to join our team in the Oregon market.

This role requires a qualified professional to provide field support and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Verify the accurate location of existing underground and aerial facilities, and perform field evaluations to ensure alternative routing delivers the most cost-effective design for construction.
  • Design and Quality Control: Ensure designs meet customer specifications and guidelines, and are within allocated budgets.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with State and local municipalities, as well as other utilities or departments, to facilitate project implementation.
  • Field Operations: Coordinate customer implementation activities, including site walk-throughs, hub and/or node placements, and subcontract labor.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure produced work meets or exceeds quality standards.
  • Task Assignment: Perform any and all tasks assigned by your Direct Superior.

Requirements:

  • A valid, unrestricted Driver's License;
  • Strong knowledge of aerial and underground design and construction requirements as they relate to customers and governmental guidelines;
  • Ability to lift around 50 pounds, safely climb ladders, and work in extreme weather;
  • Ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for fiber construction;
  • Ability to travel to different job sites within the market.
