Shift: Tuesday to Friday, 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM (2nd Shift)
Type: Full-Time, Salaried
Compensation: $110,000 - $125,000 + bonus + Long-Term Incentive (LTI)
Overview:
This position is based at our facility in Philadelphia, where you will be responsible for overseeing the production of essential raw materials utilized in our TIL process. The Aseptic Processing Supervisor will direct the aseptic processing operations, ensuring adherence to GMP standards while also contributing to staff development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Leadership: Lead and cultivate a team of operators, offering mentorship and guidance to promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage daily operations and ensure compliance with production schedules.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain an in-depth understanding of production processes and provide expertise in aseptic processing techniques and regulatory compliance.
- Documentation: Review and validate the accuracy of batch documentation, SOPs, deviations, and CAPAs.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement innovative practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Training & Development: Spearhead training initiatives and support the growth of team members to ensure compliance with best practices and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: At least 5 years in GMP manufacturing, with experience in cell culture and aseptic processing.
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge of aseptic processing, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
- Leadership: Demonstrated capability to lead and develop teams in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years in a Lead/Leadership/Supervisory role.
Physical Requirements:
- Vision & Mobility: Clear vision at near and mid-range, depth perception, ability to identify and distinguish colors. Must be able to stand/walk for up to 90% of a 10-hour day and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Cleanroom Attire: Must be able to wear appropriate cleanroom attire and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work Environment: Ability to work in cleanroom environments with biohazards, human blood components, chemicals, and variable noise levels.
