Electrical Engineer Job Description

Waters Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Next Generation Systems team. This team is responsible for the development and support of Waters core Liquid Chromatography technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop groundbreaking analog and mixed signal circuits for PCB designs.
  • Conduct detailed engineering analyses on circuit designs and verify circuits using electrical test equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on board layouts and ensure consistent design practice is maintained.
  • Verify the electrical design meets the design requirements and conduct design reviews for project deliverables.
  • Support design transfer to manufacturing and stay up-to-date with current electrical advances using new technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (required) or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (desired).
  • 2-5 years of experience in the design of analog or mixed signal circuits.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools, Mentor Graphics tool-set preferred.
  • Validated strong analytical skills and ability to work in a hands-on environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
