Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Grill/Prep Cook to join our team at TravelCenters of America. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food to order and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to order, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Prepare ingredients and supplies as needed, adhering to recipes and inventory levels.
  • Stand for up to 8 hours during a shift and lift up to 50 pounds, as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced food service setting.
  • Ability to read and follow recipe instructions and kitchen procedures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
