Job Summary:
Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including reviewing and processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with patients and customers to ensure a positive experience.
- Develop strong relationships with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to promote Walgreens' services and products.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- Contribute to inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
- Assist with clinical services, such as collecting and labeling blood/urine samples, and coordinating with external providers.
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
- Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
- Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification.
