Simpson Judge Ltd has partnered with a prominent National Insurance Defense Law Firm that is expanding its practice and is in search of a skilled Insurance Coverage Attorney to enhance their team.
This role will be situated in a flexible work environment, promoting a healthy work-life balance. As part of your responsibilities, you will advocate for a diverse range of insurance providers and corporations in coverage-related disputes, while also engaging in the review, drafting, and formulation of coverage opinions. This position promises to be both demanding and fulfilling, granting you exposure to high-stakes matters and the chance to represent leading international insurance firms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and draft various insurance policies and legal agreements.
- Provide comprehensive coverage analysis and strategic recommendations to clients.
- Conduct and defend depositions effectively.
- Draft and respond to discovery requests, motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
- Make court appearances as required.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in New York, with additional admission in New Jersey preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Insurance Coverage.
- Experience in litigation within both State and Federal Courts.
- Strong background in General Liability, Premises Liability, Labor Law, and Construction Law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding research and writing capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of cases in a fast-paced setting.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
