Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our General Surgery team. As a General Surgery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing care to adult patients hospitalized with a variety of conditions, including surgeries and trauma. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in educational activities to maintain competence and gain new knowledge
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS & ACLS certification
