Dietitian Specialist

At Center For Discovery, we are seeking a skilled Dietitian Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position that will work Monday-Friday 9:30am-5:30pm.

The Dietitian Specialist is responsible for overseeing the Dietary component in tandem with the Center For Discovery Clinical Model. This involves meeting with each patient on a weekly basis to implement and manage individualized dietary meal plans, conducting weekly calorie counts, and documenting client progress throughout treatment.

A key aspect of this role is facilitating Nutrition Groups appropriate to adult and adolescent age groups, as well as implementing one dietary treatment plan for each client within a week of admission.

This position also requires collaboration with the Director of Dietary Services and the treatment team to ensure the best standard of nutrition and dietary services are occurring.

• Meet with patients weekly to implement individualized dietary meal plans and conduct calorie counts
• Document client progress and goals throughout treatment
• Facilitate Nutrition Groups and implement dietary treatment plans
• Collaborate with the Director of Dietary Services and treatment team

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field
• Completed accredited dietetic internship
• Registered/certified dietitian in the state of practice
