As a Pharmacy Technician I Certified at Christus Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical pharmacists in delivering high-quality pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

* Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including medication lists and dosing instructions

* Perform non-judgmental technical duties under the direct supervision of a pharmacist

* Verify computerized patient medication records and maintain accurate, complete patient drug records

* Compound non-sterile pharmaceuticals and provide services efficiently and in a timely fashion

* Issue controlled substances to patient care areas and maintain records as required by law and institutional policies

* Verify daily activities of the department are complete and recorded

* Maintain competency required for current job title/position

* Maintain current technician license and ensure applicable CE records and licensure are maintained in department files

* Attend staff meetings and complete all competency/skills assessment requirements

Requirements

* High School Diploma or equivalent required

* Pharmacy experience preferred

* Registered Pharmacy technician in the State of practice required

* Certified Pharmacy technician preferred
