Job Summary:

We are seeking a Store Clerk to join our team at Festival Foods in Onalaska, WI. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, handling customer transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Operate cash registers, process sales, and handle monetary transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and keeping floors clear.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking shipments, and counting inventory.
Requirements:

To be successful as a Store Clerk, you should possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with some retail experience preferred.
  • The ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process sales and handle cash and credit transactions.
