Aerotek is seeking a seasoned Heavy Lift Helicopter Repair Expert to join our team in Aurora, Oregon. This individual will work in an MRO environment, performing complex repairs and maintenance tasks on heavy-lift helicopters, primarily Boeing CH-47 airframes.

About the Role:

  • Perform complex repairs and maintenance tasks on heavy-lift helicopters
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and machine tools to remove, inspect, and document maintenance actions
  • Frequent removal and installation of standard and blind rivets
  • Drilling/reaming/riveting to close tolerance with attention to countersink depth

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in aircraft structures
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machine tools
  • Experience with frequent removal and installation of standard and blind rivets
  • Ability to drill/ream/rivet to close tolerance

Work Environment:

  • Heavy lift helicopter fleet MRO and rebuild hangars
  • Initial schedule: 5 days a week (8am - 4:30pm), transitioning to 4 days a week (6am - 4:30pm)
