Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at McCandless Truck Center Pueblo. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing diagnoses and repairs of most vehicle components with little supervision required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnoses cause of most malfunctions and performs repair.
  • Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.

Requirements:

  • Two to four year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Compensation:

$22.00 to $55.50
