Key Responsibilities- Installation and Service: Install various types of residential garage doors, including retrofit and new construction, while ensuring safety, functionality, and performance.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with different garage door products, buildings, and applications to complete installations professionally.
- Customer Service: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, employees, and the general public.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in door installation, with a strong understanding of garage door principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies.
- Skillset: Mechanical aptitude, ability to work independently, and basic math skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on technical skills and knowledge.
The job requires frequent standing, lifting of 50 lbs, carrying 50 lbs, walking, pushing, stooping, climbing, bending, crouching, crawling, reaching above and below shoulder level, and full use of hands. You will also work in cramped garages, on ladders, and with power tools, exposed to heat, sun, high humidity, rain, and other adverse weather conditions.
