POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Warehouse Picker, you will play a crucial role in accurately selecting products and supporting the warehouse team while maintaining an organized facility. We are looking for a dependable, positive team player to contribute to our expanding warehouse operations. If you are available to work Monday through Friday with weekends off, you may be an ideal candidate. Your efforts will enhance our overall shipping process by fostering teamwork and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a welcoming and supportive attitude towards fellow team members and management.
  • Assist in the shipping and receiving of merchandise on delivery vehicles and verify incoming products.
  • Interpret picking orders, work instructions, and shipping orders to identify items for movement, gathering, or distribution.
  • Transport materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated locations.
  • Label materials with identifying information using the appropriate methods.
  • Communicate effectively and positively with internal staff and external visitors.
  • Maintain a casual warehouse appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and organize orders on pallets, shelves, or relocate them to a holding area or shipping department.
  • Ensure the warehouse and work area are organized and orderly at all times.
  • Adhere to all established company policies and procedures while safeguarding the security and confidentiality of documents and data.

Work Schedule Expectations:

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • This role is performed in a warehouse setting, with minimal outdoor exposure during work hours.
  • Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the facility.
  • Must be able to frequently move items weighing less than 10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, utilizing a dolly for safety as needed.
  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures throughout the seasons.
  • Utilization of standard warehouse equipment such as hand-held scanners, pallet jacks, box cutters, tape dispensers, and shrink wrap dispensers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
  • One year of prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
