Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage medication orders to prevent and resolve potential and actual drug-related problems.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to patients and healthcare professionals on medication use and management.
  • Compound and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Oversee technical personnel and ensure the preparation, maintenance, and dispensing of medications and supplies.
  • Participate in academic functions, such as precepting pharmacy students.
  • Float to provide coverage of pharmacy needs as required.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy required.
  • Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
