Middle Grade Math Instructor

Job Summary: Cleveland County Schools is seeking a qualified Middle Grade Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mathematics and education, with a focus on teaching middle school students.

Responsibilities:

• Teach mathematics to middle school students, utilizing a variety of instructional strategies to engage students and promote learning.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with special needs and English language learners.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote student achievement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification in middle school mathematics.
• Dual certification in mathematics and another area is preferred.
