Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Global Privacy Program: Develop and implement a comprehensive privacy strategy that aligns with Rockwell Automation's business objectives and ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide Proactive Legal Counsel: Offer expert advice on privacy, data protection, and cyber security matters to ensure the company's products and services meet the highest standards of security and compliance.
  • Serve as Legal Counsel for Information Security and Product Security: Provide legal guidance on information security and product security matters, including the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Product Security and Privacy Compliance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Rockwell Automation's products and services meet the highest standards of security and compliance.
  • Primary Escalation Resource: Serve as the primary escalation resource for privacy and security matters in commercial engagements.

Requirements:

  • Law Degree: A law degree from an accredited university is required.
  • Bar Admission: Admission to the bar of at least one state in the United States is required.
  • Legal Authorization: Legal authorization to work in the US is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years of Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in law firm or in-house experience is preferred.
  • Management Experience: A minimum of 5 years of management experience is preferred.
  • Core Competency: A core competency in information and cyber security laws is preferred.
  • Skills: Skills in drafting and negotiating legal agreements are preferred.
  • Uncompromising Ethics: Uncompromising ethics are essential.
