At Cedars-Sinai, we are seeking a highly skilled Research Administration Specialist to join our Office of Research Administration team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial administration and research grants management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of assigned portfolios, preparing and submitting invoices and financial reports, reviewing transactions and expenditures, and providing guidance to principal investigators on administrative and fiscal compliance.

You will work under the general supervision of the Manager of Post Award Reporting & Compliance and must have entry-level working knowledge of the policies and procedures of granting agencies as well as the institutional purchasing, personnel, and accounting systems.

Your analytical abilities should enable you to identify and review problem situations, make independent decisions, and/or recommend solutions. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively interact with individuals at varying levels verbally and in writing.
