About the Role

Dewberry is seeking a highly motivated and talented Site/Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in Fairfax, VA. As a Site/Civil Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects for clients in the commercial and government sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site/civil development, including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design.
  • Prepare all associated calculations, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Work on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
  • Conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering.
  • Previous internship experience preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
