Physician - Gastroenterologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team at UMPhysicians. As a Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a community-based practice in Wyoming, MN.

This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE) that will provide patient care in a clinic, hospital, and endoscopy unit conveniently located adjacent to each other. The practice includes an advance practice provider and other support staff.

Fairview Lakes Medical Center is a 61-bed community hospital with more than 26 specialty services, located approximately 35 miles northeast of Minneapolis. You may be asked to consider delivering patient care at other facilities within the M Health Fairview system, including the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis.

As a Gastroenterologist at UMPhysicians, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other Gastroenterology colleagues within the University of Minnesota, Gastroenterology Division. On call responsibilities include coverage during the week and on weekends in rotation with the general surgeons. Call will not be rigorous and rare emergencies are shared with an existing group of physicians.
