About the Job

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Associate, Data Governance and Strategy to join our Consulting organization in Houston, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to work with clients across various sectors, driving data governance and enterprise data management strategies.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in data governance, enterprise data management, or a similar field within a professional services firm or internal strategy/EDM group. A Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field is required, with knowledge in areas such as data quality, metadata management, master data management, data architecture, and data management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply data governance and EDM concepts to address business problems, demonstrating how disciplined data management can enhance business value
  • Lead and facilitate various information-gathering exercises, such as collaborative workshops, leadership interviews, surveys, and external market research
  • Support project leaders in tracking and communicating project risks, budgets, rates, and launch/closeout activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in data governance, enterprise data management, or a similar field
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage engagements and interface with senior management internally and with clients
