Northwest Excavating Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent specializing in utility management. This full-time role demands a candidate with extensive managerial expertise, particularly in the realm of dry utilities. The work schedule is set from 5:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime and night shifts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at various job sites, ensuring efficient management of multiple crews. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a valid Driver's License
- Demonstrating significant experience in a Superintendent role, with a focus on dry utilities
- Exhibiting excellent time management skills
- Proficiently interpreting Underground Utility plans and specifications
- Understanding local jurisdiction specifications
- Residing within the Los Angeles/Ventura County area
- Utilizing smartphones, tablets, and email effectively
- Collaborating efficiently with various contractors and subcontractors
- Possessing OSHA certifications is advantageous
- Successfully passing a drug screening
- Having authorization to work in the US
- Being fluent in English
- Willingness to work nights when necessary
- Completing a Predictive Index for behavioral and cognitive assessments
