Job Summary

Quad is seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting in the operation of printing presses, ensuring high-quality prints, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in setting up and operating printing presses to produce high-quality prints
  • Monitor and adjust color quality to meet customer specifications
  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs on press equipment
  • Assist in training employees and providing guidance on press operations
  • Provide performance feedback to Lead Press Operators and supervisors
  • Prepare departmental reports to track production and quality metrics
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the printing industry as a Roll Tender
  • Understanding of operations and ability to carry out instructions
  • Familiarity with safety programs and policies
  • Ability to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback
  • Willingness to update skills and knowledge to stay current with industry technology
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with printing press operations and maintenance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
