Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop detailed plumbing and fire protection drawings using AutoCad or Revit.
  • Evaluate and select equipment to meet project design and capacity requirements.
  • Develop plumbing and fire protection specifications.
  • Ensure accuracy and neatness in all drawings prior to project deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with project team members and vendors to obtain necessary information.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant codes and regulations, including OBC, OPC/IPC, NFPA, and IFGC.
  • Attend meetings with clients and consultants to discuss project requirements.
  • Perform field investigations to determine existing conditions.
  • Provide construction administration services, including RFI's, change orders, and shop drawings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical design and development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad or Revit.
  • Strong problem-solving, technical, math, and science skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • Located in Tampa, FL.
