Nurse Oncologist

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is a 288-bed, acute-care hospital providing 24/7 Emergency Services in Leon and Gadsden Counties.

We are seeking a dynamic Oncology RN to join our team. This role requires a compassionate and reliable nurse to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults.

In this position, you will be responsible for making clinical assessments, managing treatment autonomously, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis or issues
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
• Act as an advocate for patient safety
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start
• 1 year of RN experience in Oncology or Chemo Therapy preferred
• BSN is preferred
• BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
