Job Summary

The Puyallup School District is seeking a highly qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of certificated student support specialists. This is a full-time, 180-day position available for the 24/25 school year.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Assess and evaluate student communication skills to identify areas of strength and weakness
  • Design and implement evidence-based interventions to improve student communication skills
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • Washington state teaching certificate with OSPI endorsement in Speech Language Pathology
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
