Residential Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Instructor to join our team at Community Residences. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct care and support to our clients, while also assisting with the overall management of our residential program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks and participation in recreational activities.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized plans for each client, in collaboration with the Program Manager and other team members.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall functioning of the residential program.
- Assist with the maintenance of a clean and safe living environment, including cleaning, vacuuming, and other tasks as assigned.
- Provide supervision and guidance to staff, as needed.
- Valid CT driver's license and a good driving record.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid, as well as Medication Administration Certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively with adults who are developmentally disabled.
- Ability to supervise and guide other staff, while acting on behalf of the Program Manager.
- Knowledge of current issues in the field of Developmental Disabilities.
Bachelor's Degree, or an Associates Degree and one (1) year experience in the Human Services Field. Or: a high school diploma or GED with two (2) years' experience in the Human Services field.
