We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO), you will play a critical role in helping our customers design and implement scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures on the AWS cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the voice of the customer and bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain-aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
  • Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
  • Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best-in-class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
  • Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
About the Team

The WWSO HCLS storage team is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) group that helps healthcare and life sciences customers design solutions that leverage the storage stack on AWS. This team partners with other SAs, Sales, Business Development, and the storage Service teams to enable customer adoption and revenue attainment.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications.
  • 5+ years of management of technical, customer-facing resources.
  • 5+ years of technical experience in storage.
  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
