Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to meet the unique needs of pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with a commitment to obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- One year of hospital nursing experience, preferably in pediatric psychiatric nursing.
- Masters in Nursing degree.
- National Certification in pediatric psychiatric nursing.
