Lead Physician Primary Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Physician Primary Care Specialist to join our team at AbsoluteCare. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and driving our organization's mission to provide innovative, value-based care to our medically complex and socially vulnerable members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Excellent Primary Care: You will be responsible for delivering exceptional primary care to a panel of members, leading your interdisciplinary care team to achieve quality and utilization goals.
- Coach and Mentor Clinicians: You will guide fellow providers in delivering value-based care, coaching them on best practices and mentoring them to achieve their full potential.
- Clinical Leadership: You will work closely with our Medical Director to provide clinical leadership to our providers, nurses, behavioral health specialists, and medical assistants, addressing questions and providing guidance on clinical cases as they arise.
- Market Leadership: You will be a core member of our center's leadership team, driving our market towards successfully achieving quality, utilization, and engagement goals. You will participate in leadership meetings and serve as an ambassador to community-based organizations, hospital systems, and payer partners.
- Active Medical License: You must have an active, unrestricted medical license in the state of employment.
- Leadership Experience: You should have at least 5 years of clinical experience and administrative experience leading interdisciplinary teams.
- Training and Mentoring: You should have experience working with training and mentoring programs, with a focus on population health, healthcare utilization management, and care model development.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: You should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
This role operates in a professional office environment, with frequent exposure to diseases and infections. You will be required to wear protective attire, including gloves and masks, and may be required to travel to other centers or corporate offices as needed.
