Medical Director

At the Indian Health Service, we are seeking a skilled Physician (FP) (IM) (GP) to join our team of medical professionals. This position is located within our Hospitals or Health Centers, where you will work closely with our Medical Staff Services in the Billings Area. As a key member of our team, you will report to a Supervisory Physician or designee.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our team to achieve our mission of improving the health and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care to patients in a hospital or health center setting
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient care goals
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Montana
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Practice
