Educator Trek is a local non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals of color navigate the teaching profession in Los Angeles.

We provide free information and guidance to those currently navigating the hiring process to become teachers.

Job Description

As a Teacher Career Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission by offering personalized guidance and resources to new teacher candidates.

Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing unique cases, providing interview prep materials, and connecting individuals with valuable information on the California teacher credentialing process.

We are seeking an individual who has a strong motivation to teach in our local K-12 public schools long-term, identifies as a person of color, and lives in the Greater Los Angeles Metro area.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, legal authorization to work in the US, and a genuine interest in education.
