Medical Communications Specialist

About the Role: We are seeking a Medical Communications Specialist to join our team at Lifelancer. As a Medical Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for aiding and supporting the Clinical Services team on aspects of writing, revising, and annotating promotional medical content. You will also assist with identifying supporting documentation, coordinating references, checking accuracy of cited information, and evaluating literature for appropriate references. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in healthcare and writing, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, revise, and annotate promotional medical content
- Identify supporting documentation, coordinate references, and check accuracy of cited information
- Evaluate literature for appropriate references
- Develop writing projects under direct supervision
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 0-1 year of experience in the medical communication, pharmaceutical, and/or healthcare industry
- Knowledge of American Medical Association (AMA) style
