NSC Technologies, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Non-Destructive Testing Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform monitoring and measuring of products and processes in the field and facility shops.
- Conduct non-destructive testing inspections on Naval, MSC, USCG, and/or Commercial Vessels.
- Assist as Department Hold Point Coordinator by taking hold points for respective job sites and directing them to and from customers and QA leads.
- Perform non-destructive inspection methods (VT, PT, and MT) at the Level II as required.
- Assist divisions with deck-plate subcontractor control, including supplier facility visits.
- Research customer specifications and drawings, then generate inspection reports for project personnel.
- Prepare QA required surveillance reports and documentation to provide objective quality evidence of project work performed.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Closes out all QA documentation for customer review or audit when requested.
- Work directly with divisions, departments, and sites to revise third-tier procedures.
- Maintain established T&I plans and establish T&I plans from specification and standard item requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree or associate's degree preferred.
- QA NDT Inspector Level II certification.
- Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Must have Microsoft Office software experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project a plus.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2000.
- Ability to pass drug test and background check.
- Ability to gain access to military installations.
