About the Job:

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of electrical design principles and practices, including familiarity with NFPA and local building codes. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive electrical system designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure effective project delivery.

  • Create detailed equipment layouts, branch circuiting, and power lighting drawings.

  • Apply Rosendin standards for wire sizing, transformer feeders, and protection.

  • Coordinate with all other trades, including architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, vertical transportation, kitchen equipment, and OFCI systems.

  • Perform short circuit and thermal calculations as overseen by the Analytics group.

  • Apply the requirements of the National Electrical Code and Local jurisdictions for work.

  • Back-check own work as well as the work of other designers under their supervision for accuracy and completeness.
