As a Medical Imaging Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational efficiency of medical imaging systems within healthcare facilities. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of medical imaging equipment, performing troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and installations to resolve electronic, mechanical, and network issues.
- Ensure all imaging systems are calibrated and functioning according to OEM specifications.
- Continuously enhance your knowledge in the repair and installation of medical equipment.
- Provide advanced diagnostic and repair services for imaging systems.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding project feedback and potential improvements.
- Be available to address technical inquiries and issues as they arise.
- Document processes and provide training to end users.
- Deliver constructive feedback from on-site experiences and represent the company positively to clients.
- Willingness to travel as needed, up to 70% of the time.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- 3-7 years of experience in medical imaging engineering or a similar role is preferred.
- Experience with Hologic systems is preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience with x-ray systems is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to set and achieve goals while meeting deadlines.
- Mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with team members, clients, and vendors.
- Flexibility and confidence in resolving issues with mature leadership.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and internet research.
