We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Leader to join our team at Albany International. This role is responsible for leading the quality management function, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, experience in a regulated industry, and a proven track record of implementing process improvements. They will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, developing and implementing quality systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who can develop and implement quality strategies that drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 and $170,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the quality management function, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement quality systems, processes, and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve quality goals and objectives.
  • Implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including AS9100 and ISO.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with quality management software and tools.
