Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and execution of a diverse range of activity programs tailored to meet the social, physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of residents.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a monthly calendar of events that promotes resident participation and enjoyment.
  • Lead both small and large group activities, as well as one-on-one interactions to foster connections and engagement.
  • Coordinate transportation for residents attending external events, ensuring adherence to established policies.
  • Work alongside volunteers, providing guidance and support to enhance the overall programming experience.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the mission of enriching residents' lives.
Qualifications
  • Preferred experience of at least one year in activities programming within a senior living environment.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Creative skills for designing and implementing engaging activity programs.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with residents in various settings.
  • Ability to make informed decisions that prioritize the well-being of residents.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and basic math proficiency.
