Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-process and final source inspections, including First Article inspections, in accordance with AS9102 Quality Standards.
  • Read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5.
  • Conduct mechanical measurements to verify compliance of complex machined, formed, and assembled aircraft/engine components.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical skills, including (SPEC MECHANICAL).
  • Electrical skills, including (ELECTROMECHANICAL).
  • Special process skills, including (PNT - PAINT & ORGANIC FINISHES).
  • Supply chain management skills, including (FIRST ARTICLE INSPECTION,SQA - QUALITY SYSTEMS).

Product Overview:

Our team is responsible for verifying the final product prior to shipment, inspecting documentation to ensure compliance, and witnessing testing on samples to ensure proper measurements.

Certifications:

IPC certification, J-STD.

Specification Knowledge:

MIL-SPEC, MIL-STD, CARC paint.

Additional Requirements:

  • Part-time assignment.
  • Estimated length of each visit: 4 hours per visit.
  • Applicant must be a US Citizen; we are unable to sponsor at this time.
  • W2 contract position to work on an as-needed basis.
