  • Collaborate with fellow GIS professionals to define product specifications and delivery timelines.
  • Oversee GIS database functionality and performance, proactively addressing any potential challenges to ensure high-quality data delivery.
  • Enhance existing GIS workflows and identify avenues for ongoing improvement.
Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a GIS Analyst role or a comparable position, with a strong background in the design, development, and management of GIS systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Expertise in Esri's ArcGIS desktop applications for data analysis and map creation.
  • Experience in developing web and mobile applications utilizing ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS.
  • Proficient in automating data management tasks and enhancing web applications using programming languages such as Python, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Esri enterprise database environments, with a preference for familiarity with versioned datasets.
  • Strong SQL server skills, including query development, view management, and understanding of stored procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of GIS system architecture and operational workflows.
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with client organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with municipal agencies or utility infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to create reports or dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Microsoft PowerBI.
  • Strong skills in managing complex workflows, including planning, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Capability to produce reports, business correspondence, and design documentation.
