Job Description:

The Tactical Networks Group at Softworld, a Kelly Company, specializes in advanced network and communications systems development, focusing on tactical mobile, military airborne networks of the future. Our team uses technical analysis, modeling, simulation, emulation, prototype development, and light evaluation to develop new communication systems and evaluate their performance under expected conditions.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Software Development
  • Proficient in Java and Python programming languages
  • Experience with modern software engineering tools, including Java dev environments, debuggers, code repositories, version control (git), and issue tracking (jira)
  • Proficient using Linux OS
  • Proficient in using and developing Containers and Container Networking
  • Basic Networking experience required

Plus:

  • Experience with C/C++ and other scripting languages a plus

Preferred Education:

  • Master of Science in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Background in Software Defined Networking a plus

Work Location:

  • Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite
