Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Receiving Lead to join our team at WheelerShip in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully directing and coordinating receiving, inventory, and returns processes according to established operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with procurement personnel to ensure accurate and timely receipt of shipments
  • Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged and verify counts
  • Process paperwork and complete all necessary transactions according to established procedures
  • Oversee the receipt of purchased goods and ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Lead the Returns Department and ensure day-to-day goals are met
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Requirements and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of experience as a Receiving Lead or similar position
  • Experience in operating forklifts and warehouse technology
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to read and interpret documents
  • Ability to calculate and record figures and amounts
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Great communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
