We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Duke Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

• Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring the proper handling of instruments and equipment.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including administering anesthesia and monitoring vital signs.
• Participate in the development and implementation of surgical procedures, including creating and maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and surgical techniques.

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or maintains an accredited Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT or NBSTSA).
• Or, provides evidence of the successful completion of an appropriate training program for Surgical Technology in the United States Military.
• Level I- Entry level position for new graduates of Surgical Technology program or Surgical Technologists with 0 to 18 months experience.
• Level II- Requires 6 to 12 months of full-time equivalent Surgical Technology or relevant military experience.
