Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive process enhancement initiatives that support operational teams within designated regions.

  • Participate in design reviews, communicating the potential impacts of proposed solutions on systems architecture and facility processes.
  • Manage budgets and contract documents, including RFPs and purchase orders.
  • Design engineering solutions for complex material handling challenges, considering human and equipment interactions.
  • Coordinate design development efforts to optimize solutions for the North America delivery network, focusing on equipment specifications, material flow, ergonomics, and site layout.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects while negotiating and communicating with internal and external partners.
  • Utilize CAD software for reviewing material handling equipment and schematics.

Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project engineering, process engineering, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience managing large-scale material handling or automation projects.
  • Proficiency in managing cross-functional project lifecycles and implementing automated systems.
  • Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience with integrated automation solutions and complex material handling systems.
  • Background in operations management or distribution center environments.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes.
  • Certification in Lean methodologies or similar.
  • Experience with SQL and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of technical leadership in large-scale engineering projects.
  • Experience with automated material handling equipment and high-speed manufacturing systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
