- Participate in design reviews, communicating the potential impacts of proposed solutions on systems architecture and facility processes.
- Manage budgets and contract documents, including RFPs and purchase orders.
- Design engineering solutions for complex material handling challenges, considering human and equipment interactions.
- Coordinate design development efforts to optimize solutions for the North America delivery network, focusing on equipment specifications, material flow, ergonomics, and site layout.
- Effectively manage multiple projects while negotiating and communicating with internal and external partners.
- Utilize CAD software for reviewing material handling equipment and schematics.
Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- 8+ years of experience in project engineering, process engineering, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience managing large-scale material handling or automation projects.
- Proficiency in managing cross-functional project lifecycles and implementing automated systems.
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience with integrated automation solutions and complex material handling systems.
- Background in operations management or distribution center environments.
- Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes.
- Certification in Lean methodologies or similar.
- Experience with SQL and data analysis.
- Knowledge of technical leadership in large-scale engineering projects.
- Experience with automated material handling equipment and high-speed manufacturing systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
