Shelby Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Acute Medical 3W department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct clinical patient care, assess, plan, and implement care to assigned patients, and supervise staff to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct clinical patient care, including assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients.
- Supervise staff to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
- Academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master's degree).
