The Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist with a strong background in helping children. Our team serves children from birth to age 18 with a wide range of needs. As a member of our team, this role requires a proactive individual who embodies our core values and is committed to excellence in every task.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and observe children to determine their current level of ability or deficiency.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to improve patients' physical strength, coordination, and range of motion.
  • Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to set achievable goals and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records of assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and support to patients' family members, caregivers, and other support groups in maximizing patients' abilities.
  • Stay updated on the latest research, advancements, and best practices in pediatric physical therapy and incorporate them into treatment plans.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure a safe and hygienic treatment environment.
Skills and Competencies
  • Passionate about implementing activities of daily living.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, complete required documentation, manage time efficiently, and work independently.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to work with patients of varying physical abilities.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and digital therapeutic tools is a plus.
  • Collaboration and open communication are highly valued.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy.
  • Licensed in the state of Idaho or ability to obtain immediate licensure.
  • Proven experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a pediatric setting.
Work Environment
  • Pediatric Clinic.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Full-time, salaried position.
