Job Summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a motivated Environmental Emissions Specialist to join their team based in Minneapolis, MN.

This quality-driven individual will be responsible for assisting in the collection and analysis of air emissions samples from industrial clients. Utilizing scientific equipment and techniques, this specialist will determine pollution prevention control and environmental health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide stack testing services for Pace's Field Services Division to clients nationwide, including Alaska.
  • Mobilize equipment by carrying or roping, requiring physical strength during these mobilizations.
  • Perform various sampling methods used for measuring particulates, metals, acid gases, sulfur gases, hydrocarbon gases, volatile and semi-volatile organics emissions.
  • Conduct field sampling in accordance with EPA, NIOSH, and OSHA methodologies, as well as client-directed objectives.
  • Interact daily with clients, promote cooperation, and teamwork among staff, and follow Pace policies and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in related work is preferred; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Comfortable with heights and able to multitask efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly, walk, bend, carry, and climb.
  • Familiarity with heights and ability to work at elevated heights on stacks and rooftops.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $55,000 - 70,000 per year.
