Job Overview

TrueCare is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology, laboratory procedures, and healthcare operations. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take and record vital signs and medical histories
  • Prepare patients for examination and administer medications
  • Answer phone calls, register new patients, and schedule appointments
  • Collect and post fees

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, laboratory procedures, and healthcare operations
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Healthcare-related courses
  • 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
  • 6 months experience with documentation in an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
