Position Overview

Family Law Associate Attorney

We are in search of a proficient family law attorney licensed in New Jersey, possessing a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing cases from inception to resolution.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Effectively oversees tasks and timelines throughout client matters.
  • Demonstrates professional empathy towards clients, navigating varying emotional states and complexities.
  • Collects evidence to build defenses or initiate legal proceedings.
  • Conducts thorough research, interviews clients and witnesses, and manages all preparatory details for trial.
  • Drafts legal briefs, motions, and all necessary court documents; formulates strategies, arguments, and testimonies for case presentation.
  • Represents clients in court and before administrative agencies.
  • Interprets laws, rulings, and regulations for clients and businesses.
  • Collaborates with colleagues specializing in relevant legal areas to establish and confirm the basis for legal actions.
  • Engages in marketing and networking efforts to attract new clientele.
  • Continuously enhances client retention skills.

Meets or surpasses established minimum receipts and billable hours while accurately tracking non-billable time.

Participates in the marketing of retained legal services, negotiating contracts for agreed services, and engaging in local business development opportunities.

Interprets laws, rulings, and regulations, drafts legal documents, advises clients on their legal rights, and mentors others in legal practice development.
