About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Surgical Equipment Specialist to join our team in Detroit, Michigan.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment, assisting surgeons during procedures, and maintaining a sterile environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  • Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, providing support, and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including documentation and inventory management.
  • Travel to various healthcare facilities as needed to support surgical teams and provide specialized expertise.
Requirements:
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a surgical environment, preferably as a travel tech.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to different surgical teams and environments.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, up to 50% of the time.
